Season Preview:
Grayson has cemented themselves among Georgia’s power programs, and with their combination of returners and newcomers, they are one of the state’s most talented teams from top to bottom this season.
Four-star senior guard Gicarri Harris is the marquee name for the Rams as one of the state’s best overall players and will be a contender for Mr. Basketball this season. He is joined in the backcourt by seniors CJ Hyland, a Western Carolina commit, and Ant Alston, an Appalachian State commit, as well as senior guard Laz Mason.
The Rams’ frontcourt is also packed with Division I prospects with skilled junior big man Amir Taylor anchoring the middle and newcomer Jacob Wilkins coming in as one of the best players in the state in 2025, giving the Rams a lot of versatility, athleticism, and production. One of the x-factors on the team will be Ahmad Clark, who will provide a tough, versatile do-it-all type of presence.
Overall, they will be a team to watch in Georgia’s highest classification all season long and will be a threat to make it down to Macon in March.
