Fayette County has enjoyed a terrific season at 20-5, including winning Region 4-4A at 13-1, led by a great core of young players as well as senior RJ Kennedy, who has been one of the state's best bucket getters this season.
Kennedy has looked unstoppable at times with the ball in his hands and has a natural scoring instinct, that has allowed him to average over 23 points per game on the season, one of the top marks in the state. He's very good off the bounce and consistently beats defenders and gets into the paint where he can finish at a high level as well as make reads and distribute the ball.
He was named Region 4-4A Player of the Year and rightfully so, and he's a name that college programs will want to take note of as one of the state's best unsigned scorers in the 2023 class in Georgia. He recently added an offer from Clayton State & also has an offer from Georgia College.
